The 777 is the widest, most spacious airplane in its class and includes improvements in airfoil technology, flight deck design, passenger comfort and interior flexibility. Its greater payload and range capability result in lower operating costs to airlines, and its standard equipment includes many features that are optional on other airliners. The Model 777 was the first jetliner to be 100 percent digitally designed using three-dimensional computer graphics. Throughout the design process, the airplane was "preassembled" on the computer, eliminating the need for a costly, full-scale mock-up. On Feb. 15, 1996, the 777 was named winner of the prestigious Robert J. Collier Trophy by the U.S. National Aeronautic Association. The award honored the 777 as the top aeronautical achievement of 1995.BI218082 (k63367-02)Maximum size:5440px × 4080px (~63 MB)18.1in × 13.6in (300dpi)License type:Rights ManagedKeywords:2000s-2004 Blue and White Livery-777-200LR Worldliner-air to air-airplanes-blue-close-ups-commercial passenger planes-currently in production-day-exteriors-flying-fuselages-half-length views-jets-monochromatic-mountains-nacelles-nose sections-photos-right rear views-right side views-snow-structural systems-sunshine-text-viewed from above-white-wildernessRelated Photo/Videos:View AllRelated Virtual folders:777-200LR
