Boeing delivered 250 747-100s, the last in 1986. Boeing built two versions of the 747-100 passenger airplane, one of which had a higher payload capacity and was known as the -100B. The 747-100 also was available as a short-range airplane, which had a modified body structure to accommodate a greater number of takeoffs and landings. This model typically was used by airlines on short flights with a high-passenger capacity, as many as 550. Boeing also built the 747-100SP (special performance), which had a shortened fuselage and was designed to fly higher, faster and farther non-stop than any 747 model of its time.BI217038 (k14381)Maximum size:3600px × 2841px (~29 MB)12.0in × 9.4in (300dpi)License type:Rights ManagedKeywords:1960s-747 family-747-100-adults-airplanes-brown-comfort-commercial-commercial passenger planes-copy space-dark-entertainment-female-flight attendants-ground shots-in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems-interiors-jets-luxury-male-monoplanes-occupations and work-out of production-passenger cabins-passengers and travelers-payload systems-photos-recreation and leisure-seats-several/groups-stairs, lifts and ladders-stairways-vintage / retro
